PlayE4™ Game Types
At PlayE4™ you can play any chess game you want, Series, single games, tournament and more.Series (match play) and single (money game)
Series (Match play) - a series of chess games between two players. It ends when one player wins by accumulating the agreed number of points.
Single game - the normal style of competition, in which each chess game is played independently. For each game, the loser pays the winner the agreed initial sum.

Touch & Go Chess Game
The chess variation of "Touch & Go" allows you to play the game of chess while touching any piece you like. Once you make a move and the piece is released, the move is completed and you are not allowed to put back the piece. The turn then passes to your opponent.
Enable Undo
The Enable Undo option means that your move is not done until you press "Done." It means you can touch, move and release any piece, but until you have submitted your move, you are still allowed to put the piece back and make another move altogether.
Chess Tournaments
A Chess tournament is a competition, which involves a relatively large number of Chess players at the same game table. Chess tournaments contain multiple matches, each involving a subset of competitors. The overall Chess tournament winner will be determined based on the combined results of those individual matches.

Chess Tournaments - Sit & Go
A Sit & Go Tournament is a Chess tournament, in which the number of players, who can register to the game, is predefined. The tournament begins as soon as the quota of players is reached. PlayE4™'s Sit & Go tournaments include between 4 and 64 players.
Chess Tournaments - Event
PlayE4™'s Event Tournaments begin on a predefined date and time. The more players sign up, the larger the prizes are as the tournament buy-in pays it. You can view when the tournament starts in the main list.
Chess Tournaments - Free Roll
Free-roll tournaments are open to PlayE4™ fun money and real money players. They have free entrance, so you can win cash prizes without making any money deposit. The prize in the free-roll tournament is determined before registration begins, regardless to the number of players.
Chess Tournaments - Satellite
In a satellite tournament, the first prize is a free entry to a larger tournament with a higher buy-in, instead of a cash prize.
Chess Tournaments - Sponsor
Sponsor tournaments vary in rules, conditions, prizes and number of participants. The tournaments' terms and conditions are determined solely by the sponsor and the prizes can range from virtual goods to cash money, up to the sponsor decision.
